Trump Claims That the Epstein Files Do Not Exist and Were Created by Hillary and Obama
In a shocking turn of events, former President Donald Trump dismissed the recently unsealed Epstein documents, claiming they were completely fabricated. According to Trump, the files were not based on any legitimate investigation but were instead a creation of his longtime political rivals—Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
The claims came as Trump posted a lengthy message on Truth Social, where he suggested that the entire media narrative around Jeffrey Epstein is part of a larger conspiracy aimed at damaging the MAGA movement and protecting establishment elites.
Allegations of Political Fabrication
Throughout his post, Trump accused a wide range of political figures—including former FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and the entire Biden administration—of orchestrating a “fake scandal.” He claimed they invented the Epstein files in the same way they allegedly created the now-debunked Russia investigation and the controversial Steele dossier.
Without offering any supporting evidence, Trump insisted that the documents being discussed by the media were designed years ago by Democrats to discredit him and other conservative figures.
He questioned why, if the files truly contained explosive material, they weren’t used earlier by his opponents. “If there was anything in there that could have hurt the MAGA Movement,” he asked, “why didn’t they use it?”
A Distraction From Real Issues?
Trump’s message also downplayed the significance of Jeffrey Epstein altogether. He referred to Epstein as “a guy who never dies” and expressed frustration that so much time and energy was being spent on what he called “Radical Left inspired documents.”
Instead, Trump shifted focus toward what he considers real priorities: border security, economic recovery, energy independence, and combating political corruption. He praised Attorney General Pam Bondi for investigating voter fraud and claimed she was being unfairly targeted by critics.
Many observers see this as an attempt by Trump to reframe the narrative and rally his base ahead of the 2024 election. Legal experts, however, continue to affirm the legitimacy of the released Epstein documents, which were disclosed under court orders and have been the subject of investigative scrutiny for years.
